ABOUT ME

I’m Kat, a Sydney based photographer, specialising in music festivals, live events and nightlife. 

 

My passion for festival photography kicked off in 2018 during a year-long trip around the world, attending a music festival every single weekend. While writing countless articles in exchange for media passes, I struggled to find captivating photos for many of the festivals I wanted to attend, so I bought a camera and started taking them myself.

 

Since then, my work has taken me across the world, travelling to more than 250 festivals in over 50 countries and capturing some of the biggest festivals, events and artists along the way.

 

I focus on capturing what it actually feels like to be there, the moments that make you want to jump on a plane and experience the festival for yourself! My love for production combined with a high attention to detail has also earned me the title of ‘Queen Of Lasers’, known for mastering one of the most difficult elements to capture in the festival space. I also tour with artists, providing fast, high quality photos, videos and social media content. 

 

I’m always travelling and regularly working across major festivals, tours and live events worldwide.
